I was with a group of 22 and at very last minute they fitted us in on a Sunday night for food. There restaurant was comfortable and appealing. The food was excellent... Between us we sampled alot of the meals on offer. It was served quickly and efficiently.

A very attractive hotel with good sized rooms and comfortable beds, set in picturesque surroundings, ideal for exploring the local beauty spots.
We had already eaten by the time we arrived, so I can't comment on the restaurant facilities but breakfast was excellent. However, the bar was very friendly with a good selection of malt
You may read some negative reports on here but I would suggest they refer to the previous owners. The new owners are the most friendly and welcoming people you could hope to meet. So good luck, Alan and Cami for your future success.

Room Tip: Only saw two rooms, both were quiet with good views.

“You Should Definitely Visit – Ask for Tina!”

Called in “on spec” for late afternoon meal with friends on way back from Fort William to their holiday accommodation in Kinloch Rannoch. First visit, so unsure what to expect, but menu looked encouraging. I was served at the bar by Tina (of whom more later) who devoted great care and attention to the drinks order and insisted on bringing it to our table, before taking our food order.
All four of us decided unadventurously on haddock & chips, to Tina’s mild disappointment (following my over-complicated order for drinks). Food arrived – generous helpings – and looked very impressive. Fish was excellent, though batter not to everyone’s taste; lots of chips and peas; tasty, home-made tartare sauce – yummy! Home-made bread an acquired taste, but do have a go.
Finished off with very good, home-made ice cream/tiramisu gateau/raspberry & white choc gateau – extra yummy!
Enjoyed the food, but we all agree the pièce de résistance was Tina herself. What a character! Sassy, but polite, cheeky but respectful, smiling, funny, and all the time super-efficient, she really made our day and ensured we enjoyed our visit.
Thank you, Tina - I really hope to return this way sometime so we can call again.
